He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Masengale, Sr. and Alice Spear Masengale; and his sisters, Norma, Betty and Barbara.
He is survived by: his wife Vera Wallace Masengale; his children, Angie Ritter (Dustin) of Blanchard, OK and Mel Masengale, III (Kim) of Indiana, PA.; his grandchildren, Seth (Savannah), Whitney, Tricia, Angela (Patrick), Mackenzie (Jared), Alexandra, Abigail, Peighton, Kyndell, Joshua, Camdyn, Abbie and Emma; and his siblings, Leola Rutherford, Charles Masengale, Peggy Mannschreck, Pat McKinney and Kaye Mulliniks. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, & extended family.
