With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sue Schaeffer (Mustang, Oklahoma), who passed away on October 14, 2018. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Gary. She is survived by: her daughter Dawnita Shockley (Don) of Tulsa, OK; her daughter-in-law Brenda Schaeffer Jones of Ft. Worth, TX; her brother Maurice "Mert" Way (Shirley) of Somerville, TX; her sisters-in-law, Glenda Murray of Van Buren, AR, Jeanette Templeton of Snyder, TX and Her; her grandchildren, Charm Winrich, Chad Shockley (Meredith) of Jenks, OK, Eric Schaeffer (Kim) of Millersville, MD, Chelsie Henrie (Calvin) of Broken Arrow, OK and Allison Wallace (Logan) of Point Mugu, CA.; her great grandchildren, Weston, Jordan, Andrew, Olivia, Coleson, Landon, Sophia, Addison, Heston, Ainsley and June; her nieces, Janice, Cindy and Melodie; her parents, Raymond Way and Larue Way; and her brother Melvin.
Dawnita said to her, "I saw some of the great-grandchildren before I came and they said to tell MaMaw how much they love you." Her last complete sentence was, " I love every one of them." And she did! ————————————————————— Sue was a cancer survivor of 15 years, for which we are grateful, yet, Alzheimer's Disease robbed her of those same years.
