He was predeceased by: his parents, Cliff Phillips and Grace Phillips (Candfield); his brothers, Melvin Phillips and Charles Phillips; his son Russell Phillips; and his great grandchild Chancery Bruce.
He is survived by: his wife Helen M. Converse; his children, Darwin Phillips (Anne) of Katy, Rick Phillips (Larysa) of Woodward, Randell Phillips of Yukon, Ranee Bruce (John) of Sharon and Gwenda Phillips of Katy, Texas; and his grandchildren, Kevin Phillips (Melanie) of Katy, Kristi Phillips of Dallas, Kyle Bruce (Rachel) of Stillwater, William Phillips (Connie) of Rockwell, Shannon Bullard (Troy) of Shattuck, Brandon Bruce (Tesha) of Mutual, Jacy Kowalyszn (Andrew) of Elgin, Illinios, Jonna Wyrick (Willie) of Mooreland, Randelyon Phillips of Edmond and Tyler Phillips (Brittanie) of Tuttle. He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
The family request no flowers or plants. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mutual Persimmon Cemetery or the Chancery Bruce Memorial Fund with the check being made to Great Plains Vision Center with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
