He was predeceased by: his mother Inez Badillo; and his sister Lucy Bastidas. He is survived by: his daughters, Rebecca Medina and Victoria Medina; his former wife Debbie Medina; and his siblings, Rebecca Soto (Felix), Elizabeth Hoover and Daniel Medina. He is also survived by many nieces, grand-nieces, nephews, and grand-nephews.
