He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Edwin and Ellen Louise Stubblefield (McCulley); his daughter Leslie Renee Stubblefield; and his cousins, George and Mary Russell.
He is survived by: his wife Terri Deanne Shope; his brother Tom (Paula Stubblefield); his granddaughter Abigail Erin Stubblefield; his siblings-in-law, Bill Shope (Debbie), Sharlet Spencer (Bill) and Joni Mustain (John); and his cousins, Jane Rogers (Randy) and Blue Russell (Jennifer). He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, and many wonderful friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorial donations be made in Joe's honor to the Second Chance Animal Sanctuary, Hands Helping Paws, the American Diabetes Association, or the American Stroke Association.
