He was predeceased by: his parents, Mattie Mae Irons and J. C. Irons, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Lily Irons; his children, Johnny Clarence Irons, IV of Tulsa, Oklahoma, DeMorney Trinh Irons of Little Rock and Rikki Jahna Mai Irons of Norman, Oklahoma; his former wife Lee Pham of California; his siblings, Sotora Guy of Oklahoma City, Brenda Laws of San Jose, Lillie Vee Laws of Atlanta, Georgia, Angela Mrema (Mark Mrema) of Ft. Worth, Angelica Franklin of Norman, Oklahoma., James Laws (Carolyn Laws) of Norman, Maurice Laws of Dallas, Steven Irons (Robin Irons) of Norman, Bradley Irons (Dawn Irons) of Denver City, Daryl Irons (Danyl Irons) of Norman and Broderick Willis of Norman, Oklahoma.; and his aunt Alice Faye Newman of McAlester, Oklahoma. He is also survived by one grandchild; and a multitude of cousins, nieces and nephews.
