It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mattie Irons (Norman, Oklahoma), who passed away on May 12, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband J. C. Irons. She is survived by: her brother Miller M. Newman (Alice F. Newman) of McAlester, Oklahoma.; and her children, Sotora Guy of Oklahoma City, Brenda Laws of San Jose, Lillie Wilburn of Atlanta, Georgia, Angela Mrema (Mark Mrema) of Ft. Worth, Angelica Franklin (Darius Franklin) of San Diego, James Laws (Carolyn Laws) of Norman, Maurice Laws (Von Laws) of Dallas, Johnny Irons (Lily Irons) of Norman, Steven Irons (Robin Dean) of Norman, Bradley Irons (Dawn Irons) of Denver City, Daryl Irons (Danyl Irons) of Norman and Broderick Willis of Norman, Oklahoma.. She is also survived by 39 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the funeral service at 10:00 a. m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2020, is limited to 10 people.
