She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lunsford and Elva Lunsford; her husband Wayne Herrell Hughes; and her siblings, Melvin Lunsford, Buster Lunsford and Ruth Sherrill.
She is survived by: her children, Terri Hamil (Ed), Bo Hughes (Sandy), Roger Hughes (Bettie) and Danny Hughes (Heather); and her brothers, Eldon Lunsford, Bill Lunsford and Cotton Lunsford. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
