It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Louise Pruett (Nowata, Oklahoma), who passed away on May 31, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Flossie Maybelle Hurd (Lightle); her husband Egee Pruett; her father Asa Hurd; her brother Edwin Hurd; her son-in-law John Lord; her nephew Jerry Lee Hurd; and her siblings-in-law, Wanda Pearsall, Arlene Branen, Jessie Hurd, Brownie Pearsall, Jerry Branen and Ronnie Standeford.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Lord, Nancy (Rocky Seals), Margie McClellan and Elisa (Roger Collier); her grandchildren, Shelley Seals, Sherri Seals, Rocky Lee (Amber Seals), Michael McClellan, Clint Collier and Ashley (Doniva Downing); her great grandchildren, Tyler Moore, Tucker, Rylee Collier, Kaleena, Alayah, Landri Downing, Alexandra Hubbard, Anthony Ricks, Alicia Hubbard, Asiah Caliman, Aiden McClellan, Kinsley, Kaitlyn, Paisley Seals and Maxie Waters; her great great grandchildren, Harlen, Asher Ricks and Anistyn Hubbard; and her sister Imogene Standeford. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Benjamin Funeral Services (114 W Cherokee Ave, Nowata, OK 74048). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cornerstone Community Church (260 E Galer Ave, Nowata, OK 74048). A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
