He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Whitmire and Nancy Whitmire (Sumpter); and his brother Douglas Whitmire. He is survived by: his wife Marsha Jackson; his son Tim Whitmire of Okemah; and his sisters, Judy Wilbourn (Kevin) of Okemah, Diana Bennett of Okemah and Tina Whitmire of Beggs.
