He was predeceased by: his parents, Silas Parson Childress and Annie Mae Childress (Weeks); his wife Roberta Joan Lacquement; and his son-in-law William Haney. He is survived by: his children, Wally Childress (Sandra) of Okemah, Rex Childress (Danelle) of Okemah and Judy Haney of Okemah. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
