It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn Marie Swayze of Okemah, Oklahoma, born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 14, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Ethel Miller and Claude Miller; her sister Edna Louise Fisher; her former life partner Cleveland Jennings Ash, Sr. of Arkansas; and her son C. J. Ash Jr..

She is survived by : her sisters, Laura "Diane" Flick of Tulsa and Rhonda Landis of Tulsa, Oklahoma.; her husband Edward Dale Swayze, Sr. of Okemah; her children, Richard Ash (Amanda), George Ash (Jamie), Doug Swayze Jr. (Nicole Ferness), Eric Swayze (Tressa) and Teresa Blankenship (David); and her grandchildren, April Hilburn, Heather Najera, Matthew Blankenship, Roy-Sean Ash, Andrew Ash, Katelyn Ash, Tyler Ash, Joshua Ash, Joel Ash, Hannah Ash and Dakota Swayze. She is also survived by the grandkids, spending all day making mom and dad.
