He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonie Bear and Annie Coker Bear; his siblings, Lucky, Albert, Clifford, Ashly, Atley Bear, Stella Bear Mueller and Patricia Bear Noon; and his children, Lon Bear Jr., Henry Michael Bear and Dana Sue Bear.
He is survived by: his wife Susanna Deeringwater; and his children, Dale (Janet Bear) of Nowata, Gaylan (Le'onna Bear) of Okemah, Lonetta (James Fisher) of Glenpool, Mary (Mark Billie) of Okemah and Diana Bear Baker of Okemah. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren.
