He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Tillery and Beulah Tillery (Wells); his daughter Marlene Rachelle Tillery; and his siblings, Ruby Fuller, Betsie McCormick, Donna Sue Tillery, Betty Smith, Delois Smith, Freda Hussein, Opal Smith, Melvin "Buster" Tillery, Johnny Tillery and Leon Tillery.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Dodson; his children, Steven Tillery (Terri) of Okemah, Rodney Tillery of Holdenville, Tammy Ragsdale (Todd) of Okemah, Marvin Eugene Tillery Jr. (Gail) of Okemah and Rashawn Rodgers (Kyle) of Seminole; and his siblings, Gladys Bennett, Kathryn Dennis (Ed) of Okemah and Donnie Tillery (Elaine) of Okemah. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
