He was predeceased by: his father Coit M. DuBose, Sr.; and his brother Alvin Nicholes DuBose. He is survived by: his wife Dianne DuBose of Oklahoma City; his sister Gwyn DuBose-Schmitt (Heinrich) of Anderson; and his sibling's children, Heinrich A. DuBose-Schmitt, Jr. of Huntsville, Jarrod G. DuBose-Schmitt of Sumter and Elinor Leigh Lister of Anderson.

Terry worked for the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation as a chemist.
