He was predeceased by : his parents, Delno Wells and Velma Fae Wells; and his wife Beverly Wells. He is survived by : his daughters, Alicia Nunez (Javier) and Callie Cardwell (Brian); his grandchildren, Kayton Ross, Laney Ross, Colin Ross, Deacon Pritchard, Kamey Ryan (Conner) and Gracelyn Lynd (Dawson); his daughter Sister Janet Clark (Stephen); and his grandchildren, Julie Brown and Jimmy Clark.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vondel L. Smith & Son Mortuary South Lakes (4000 SW 119th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73173). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Southern Hills Baptist Church-Chapel (8601 S Pennsylvania Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73159). A burial was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 at the Resthaven Memory Gardens - Oklahoma City (500 SW 104th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73139).
