He is survived by: his wife Dean; his daughters, Lisa Lunsford and Donna Nevel; his grandson Seth Nevel (Laura); and his sister Dorthy M. Gaines.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Western Oaks Christian Church or the Salvation Army.
