He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Jones and Irene Harris Jones; his brothers, David and Don Jones; and his wife Ida Lura Asah Jones.

He is survived by: his children, Spencer, Timothy (Cindy) of Oklahoma City, Robert (Marcella) of Anchorage, Alaska and Leslie (Robert) of Stillwater, OK; his grandson Tim; and his sister Karen Ingham.
