She was predeceased by : her parents, Ward Barney and Grace Barney; her husband Wayne "Bus" Hewitt; her son Larry Hewitt; and her sisters, Bernice DeLong, Janeva Norris, Leota Crosby and Ada May Barney.

She is survived by : her daughter Jana Smith of Weatherford; her sibling Billie Haub; her sisters-in-law, Mary Brown and Gwen Hewitt; her grandchildren, Tim Hewitt, Kaylie White and Keagan Smith; and her great grandchildren, Chloe, Christian, Emilee, Campbell, Olivia, Ava and Kynlee. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
