He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus Talkington and Freda Talkington; his brother Thomas Allen Talkington; and his grandson Carter. He is survived by: his wife Lynda Talkington; his daughters, Paige, Shanea Scully (John), Dixie Szymanski (John) and Dusti Talkington (Brad Bruce); his grandchildren, Presley Miller (Chris Tipton), Jacob Tilley (Lexie Tilley), Mya Szymanski, Ashlynn Bruce and Ryan Quinn Szymanski; and his great grandchildren, Kobe Tipton, Calyn Tipton and Ella Mae Tilley.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Resthaven Funeral Home & Memory Gardens (500 SW 104th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73139). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
