“Jannie and I shared a special bond. She was the only friend I had that after the bombing that talked about her grandchildren in the past tense like I did. I used to tell people you’ve never been hugged until you get a hug from Jannie Coverdale. She made you feel loved and her smile lit up the room. My world was a better place because of her. “I remember the first time my husband and I met Ms. Coverdale after the bomb blast in April of 1995. By the time we met her, she was in a remodeled apartment a few doors west of the former Murrah building and she had a collection of angels displayed in a glassed in etagere. Her living room was immaculate and she was lovely with her perfect manicure and and elegant attire. I will remember her the way I met her in 1995. ❤️ My condolences to all who loved her throughout the years.”
