He is survived by: his children, Marla Alvarado-Cravens (John), Summer Self (Kevin) and Jesse Alvarado Jr.; and his sisters, Flora and Rosemary. He is also survived by five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
