He was predeceased by: his parents, Olin Culbertson and Pearl Culbertson (Luttrell); and his wife Cynthia. He is survived by: his sons, Craig (Darva) of Edmond and David (Cindy) of Houston; and his grandchildren, Brooke Lessman (Garrett) of Boston, John Culbertson and Blair Culbertson of Houston. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
