Karst; her children, Darren Karst (Terri) of Lake Forest and Lori Oltmanns (Kevin) of Stillwater; and her grandchildren, Sarah Karst of Chicago, IL, Michael Oltmanns (Amy) of Norman, OK, Kristin Flood (Eddie) of Lake Forest, IL and Carly Nix (Andy) of Edmond, OK.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Lord's Lutheran Church or the donor's choice.
