With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Loyd V. Allen Jr. (Oklahoma City, Oklahoma), born in Pryor, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 23, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Loyd's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Loyd has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding us through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Loyd Allen and Verna Allen; his son-in-law Forrest Pollock; his grandson Preston Pollock; and his great grandchild Eliana Gifford.
He is survived by : his wife Margaret Allen; his daughters, Dawn Cross (John), Tammy Ware (Tim) and Natalie Butcher (Damon); and his brother Bob Allen (Nancy). He is also survived by "Papa" to his 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Resthaven Funeral Home (500 SW 104th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73170).
