Russell Hubbard Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Russell Hubbard of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 24, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Opal Hubbard (Nance) and Milton Hubbard; his wife Helen Kay Hubbard (Vorse); and his siblings, Gene Hubbard and Karen Simmons.
He is survived by: his daughters, April Nordstrom of Moore, Geraldine Southern (Curtis) of Atoka, Janet Deilami (Josh) of Oklahoma City, Sara Hubbard of Arkadelphia and Laura Hubbard (OklahomaSix) of Moore; his grandchildren, Lindsay Sharp (Aaron), Chelsea Nordstrom, Courtney Gunn (Chris), Alexander Southern (Kara), Chloe Deilami and Julia Cobb (Kiernan); his great grandchildren, Olivia, Gauge, Emily, Kegan, Russell, Gracie and Kaia; his great great grandchild Harlow; and his sister Carol Hubbard of Edmonds. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vondel L. Smith & Son Mortuary South Lakes (4000 SW 119th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73173). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the New Heights Baptist Church (1414 SW 119th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73170).
