It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ursula Dawn Shannon in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, who passed away on May 12, 2024, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Neman Harjo Sr. and Mary Ann Larney; her siblings, Neman Harjo Jr., Delhia Harjo and Steven Harjo; and her nephews, Calvin Harjo and Mark Anthony Alexander Harjo.
She is survived by: her children, DeVante Baker and Kadijah Sandoval; her siblings, Toney Harjo, Jay Harjo, Lawanda Carrillo of Texas, Pauletta Ortiz and Bruce Harjo; her aunts, Elizabeth Yahola, Yvonne Kay Shields and Josetta Larney; and her uncle Lucian Jake Larney. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
