With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Yvonne Elaine Carpenter (Oklahoma City, Oklahoma), born in Porter, Oklahoma, who passed away on May 27, 2025 at the age of 80. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Yvonne Elaine Carpenter to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Edward and Margaret Harrison (Marshall); her husband James Thomas Carpenter; and her brother Carver. She is survived by: her sons, Aaron Carpenter (Stacey) of Plano, TX, Dwayne Carpenter (May) of Elgin, IL and Edric Carpenter of Oklahoma City; her grandchildren, Garrick Carpenter, Isaiah Carpenter, Israel Carpenter, Malia Carpenter and Gavin Carpenter; and her great grandchild Chrisean Carpenter.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vondel Smith & Son Mortuary North (13125 N MacArthur Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73142). A reception will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 12:30 PM. A requiem service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Anglican Church (10509 N Council Rd, Oklahoma City, OK 73162). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Resurrection Memorial Cemetery (7801 Northwest Expy, Oklahoma City, OK 73132).
