He is survived by: his brother Joe Simpson; his parent Pearl Whitley Rowan; his son Everette Rowan of Omega; his siblings, Bobby Rowan of Tifton, Nate Rowan of Cincinnati, Evelyn Eason of Oliver Springs, Pat Purvis of Lenox, Marie Hagadorn of Albany and Ovaline Williams of McDonough; and also David Sumner.
