He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymond George and Beatrice "B. I." (B. I.); and his siblings, Randy George, Donald George, Troy George and Peggy Burns.

He is survived by : his children, Steve George (JD), Angie Flanagan (Wayne), Christine Vencl and Brian George; and his brother Ronny George (Nancy). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
