He was predeceased by: his parents, Wink Thompson and Lucy Thompson (White); his wife Ardith Thompson; his brothers, Harold Thompson, Tom Thompson and Robert Thompson; and his granddaughter Amber Story.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Thompson (Irmgard) of Pauls Valley, Janet Story (Keith) of Yukon and Amy Brown (Mickey) of Pauls Valley; his grandchildren, Brian Story (Sarah) of Edmond, Alicia Groves (Tyler) of Pauls Valley and Steven Brown of Edmond; his brother John R. Thompson of Abilene; his sibling's children, Jessica, Cody and Lan Lam of St Louis; his great-niece Victoria; his great-nephew Richard; and his sibling's child Hong Lam (An) of St. Louis. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
It has been requested by the family that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Church Building Fund at the First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 385, Pauls Valley, OK 73075.
