It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Sholar of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, born in Pryor, Oklahoma, who passed away on July 8, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Sholar and Ann Sholar (Sorrels); and his brother Tommy Sholar. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Sholar (Pierson); his children, Bret Sholar (Angela) of Oklahoma City, Curt Sholar (Susan) of Billings, Susan Sholar Hanny (Kimball) of Denver and Sarah Sholar Landry of Billings, Montana; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Abby, Rain, Kate, Madeline, Ben, Brendan, Griffin and Jeff; and his great grandchild Dylan.
He was taken too soon after a short fight against COVID 19.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Pauls Valley Animal Welfare Society (P.A.W.S.).
