He was predeceased by: his parents, Buerl Shirley and Elsie Shirley of Katie; and his siblings, Thelma Braggs (late Namon Braggs Sr.), Wilma Frazier (late Alphonso Frazier), Audrey Scott, Helen Dillahunty, W. M. Shirley (Clara Shirley) and Larry Shirley.
He is survived by: his wife Cercia Shirley; his children, Victor McDonald, Marva Shirley Dinwiddie (Marion Dinwiddie) and Ebony Shirley Thompson (Jermaine Thompson); his grandchildren, Timothy Heath (Sarah Heath), Brooklyn McDonald, Morgan Dinwiddie, Tyrese McDonald, Alezia Thompson, Colyn Thompson, Malia Dinwiddie and Casyn Thompson; his great grandchildren, Addison, Legend, Nyla, Londyn, Saint and Emeri; and his siblings, Leona Thomas (late Tyrone Thomas), Patricia Ann Shirley (Ronald Norman Sr.), Debra Rhodes (late Blake Rhodes), Tammy Shirley, Billie Ray Shirley (Debbie Shirley) and Steven Shirley. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Wooster Funeral Home and Cremation Services (1601 S Chickasaw St, Pauls Valley, OK 73075). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Hope Baptist Church (320 N Midwest Blvd, Midwest City, OK 73110).
