She was predeceased by: her parents, William Leroy Griesel and Marjorie Liane Meeker Griesel; her husband D. E. "Buck" Buchanan; her sons, Kenneth David Buchanan and Butch Hobart Leroy Buchanan; her daughter-in-law Banetha Buchanan; her grandsons, William Calvin Buchanan and Cole Edward Buchanan; and her siblings, Infant, Phillip Griesel and Nancy Burns.
She is survived by: her sons, Calvin Buchanan and Bob Buchanan (Bonnie); her grandchildren, Carrie Colclazier, Justin Buchanan, Jessica Garrison, Molly Brant, Amanda Poole, Emily Buchanan Hart, Nathan Buchanan, Cara Crabtree and Hannah Buchanan; her siblings, Marianne Denney, Peggy Goodrich, Effie Medford and Bill Griesel; her sister-in-law Kerry Griesel; Shelley Trussell, JoBeth Spears, April Moles, Michael Spears and Grant Spears.
In lieu of flowers the family would like any memoriam to be made to the First Christian Church of Pawnee or to the Project Heart Senior Nutrition Site in Pawnee.
