He was predeceased by: his parents, Cooper "Runt" and Ruby Kathryn Barnes (Martin); his siblings, Linda Bukowski, Leon, Travis Gene and Bobby Ray Barnes; and his cousin Danny Reeder.
He is survived by: his close friend Leslie Parsons; his children, Micheal (Nancy Barnes), Karl (Jennifer Barnes), Sherry (Curtis) of Park Hill, OK and Belinda Moran; and his stepdaughters, Carrie Ann Armstrong (Dean) of Gans, OK and Regina Sherfield Smith (Lee LeMaster) of Poteau, OK. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.
