Al Pongratz Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Al Pongratz of Porum, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 12, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Al's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Al's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may he find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alois Pongratz and Mariana Pongratz (Tscheliesnig); his wife Diane Petersen; and his sister Marion Morris. He is survived by: his children, Terri Pawlak (Al), John Pongratz (Judy) and Jerry Pongratz (Donna). He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul's Catholic Church (700 Forest Ave, Eufaula, OK 74432).
