He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elbert "Burt" Simpson and Cora Shetterly Simpson; his wife Jeanie Simpson; his brothers, Eland and Ralph Simpson; his daughter Penny; his son-in-law Jack Jedlicka of Poteau, OK; and his grandchildren, Shaden Jedlicka of Oklahoma City, OK and Mikey Black of Fort Smith, AR..
