It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Self (Poteau, Oklahoma), born in Culbertson, Montana, who passed away on September 10, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward A. "Nute" and Dora Anklam (Marcinkowski); her husband John D. Self; and her daughter Charlotte Faye Pate (Self). She is survived by: her daughters, Marjorie Gayle (Bryan Johnson), Karen Kay Self of Poteau, OK, Ruth Ann (James Howell) and Nancy Jo Self of Springfield, VT; and her siblings, Gwen Anklam Frerich of Billings, MT and Edward Anklam of Culbertson, MT. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
