Barnett; her grandchildren, Madison, Kaylee, Makenzie Martin and Anthony Adkins; and her nieces and nephews, Blane Ward and Elaina Moran. She is also survived by other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Verona Fair wrote a sympathy message

“I’m so sorry for your loss. I worked with Carol when I was just a teenager at Braums. She seemed a bit rough around the edges at first but after some time I discovered she was a very kind loving person! As time went on I’d continue to see her at Walmart and she always displayed so much love for kids and grandchildren. She always just wanted the best for them! She appeared to be tough but when she did speak about her kids and grandchildren I noticed once tears in her eyes. She loved them dearly.”
