It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joann (Dusek) Sykes of Poteau, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 28, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, John Rudy and Oda Dusek (Cast); her son Joey; her brother Mickey; her husband Frankie Claude Sykes; and her niece Ann Carsello.
She is survived by : her daughter Rebecca; her son-in-law Aaron Boehme; her grandchildren, Jenna, Jentry and Jace Boehme of Heavener; and her sisters, Gladys Cloakey of Howe and Grace Dehart of Poteau. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and special friends.
