He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Byous and Martha Byous (Covey); and his brother Jerry Byous. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Byous; his siblings, Joyce Byous Hair of Poteau and Jim Byous of Savannah, GA; his sister-in-law Becky Byous; and his great-niece Georgia.
