He is survived by: his wife Jo Welch; his children, Cynthia Jo (Brian Larkin) of Bokoshe, OK, John Richard (Tammy Welch) of Hodgen and Tonia (Scott Phillips) of Poteau; and his grandsons, Justus Welch, Jonathan House, Tyler Welch and Gene Welch.
