He is survived by: his wife Mildred; his children, Scott Phillips (Tonia), Joanie Caudell of Wister, Jason "Booger" Phillips (Angie), Leslie "Dasha" Maynor (Bruce), Tina Smith of Heavener, Charles Smith (Carolyn) and Carla Branscom of Heavener; his granddaughter Summer Hendrix; and his siblings, Fred Phillips Jr., Beulah Bright and Lavell Owens. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.
