It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert L. Thompson (Poteau, Oklahoma), who passed away on January 4, 2019, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Durfey Sr. and Martha Thompson (Green); and his siblings, Ruth Nell Copkney (Thompson), Durfey May Thompson and Ida Thompson.

He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Ancio Thompson, Devin Damae Thompson, Desmond Thompson, Durfey Thompson III, Antoinette Thompson, Jessa Thompson and Jamese Horst; and his sister-in-law Carmen Thompson of Edmond. He is also survived by other relatives, loved ones and many beloved friends.
