It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma Smith of Pryor, Oklahoma, who passed away on July 1, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Luke Williams and Mabel Faye Williams (Pounds); her daughter Sherrie Sims; her granddaughter ShaRae; her great grandchild ShaKayla Frachiseur; and her sisters, Marie, Irene, Katherine and Mae.
She is survived by: her husband W. E. Smith; her daughters, Jackie Wilson (Rick) of Pryor and Sharon Schwartz (Karl) of Norman; her sister Betty Hawkins of Chouteau; and her grandchildren, Chad, April, Erica, Sharice and Michaela. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandson.
