She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurston Tompkins and Mamie Tompkins. She is survived by: her husband Luther Dowdy; her sons, Jerry Alton Dowdy and Carl Ray Dowdy; her siblings, Joe, Mart, Oren, Irven, Mack Tompkins, Laura Idleman, Iosa Rollins, Effie, Wanda and Frances; her granddaughters, Renee Cagle and Gail Wheeler; her daughter Charlotte Holleman (Richard) of Purcell; her granddaughters, Alicia Banks (Scott) of Purcell and Amber Banks (Tim) of Purcell; and her great grandchildren, Caleb Wheeler, Zachery Wheeler, Lauren, Addison, Ethan Banks and Hadley Banks. She is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
