Laurel Diane Van Ruitenbeek Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laurel Diane Van Ruitenbeek in Putnam, Oklahoma, born in Thomas, Oklahoma, who passed away on May 29, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid adieu to Laurel Diane's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Laurel Diane has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

She is survived by: her husband A. J. Van Ruitenbeek; her children, Elizabeth LeMay (Michael), Benjamin Van Ruitenbeek, Timothy Van Ruitenbeek (Kim) and Philip Van Ruitenbeek; her grandchildren, James, Anna and Julia LeMay; and her siblings, Gerald Haury (Melanie), Stuart Haury (Denise), Rose Haury and Mark Haury.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hunters Glen Baptist Church (4001 Custer Rd, Plano, TX 75023).
