We bid farewell to Edwin Fay Kibel Sr. of Quapaw, Oklahoma, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 8, 2025 at the age of 80. Edwin touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick C. Kibel and Ida Virginia Kibel (Packer); and his brothers, Eugene Kibel, Earl Kibel and Elton Kibel.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Kibel (Oltman); his children, Fred Marquardt of Riverton, KS, Edwin Fay Kibel, Jr. of Baxter Springs, KS, Robert Blizzard of Tulsa, OK, Meletha Walters (Gerald) of Frisco, TX and Brenda Norton (Dennis) of Lafayette, TN; his brother Ernie Kibel of Baxter Springs, KS; and his grandchildren, Megan Gardner, Michael Marquardt, Lily Kibel, Zachary Norton, Nicholas Blizzard, Laren Bostick and Rylan Blizzard. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home & Cremation Service - Miami (1432 B St NW, Miami, OK 74354). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
