She is survived by : her spouse Leslie Pope; her son DeRoy Pope; her foster daughter Pamela Gotes; and her grandchildren, Brian Barnard and Wanda James. She is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren; fourteen great-great grandchildren; and two great-great-great grandchildren.
