He was predeceased by : his parents, Jack Hiatt and Oleta Hiatt (Muse); and his brothers, Gene Hiatt, Jack Hiatt and James (Jim).

He is survived by : his child Russell Hiatt (Brandy Hiatt) of Wister; his wife Donna Hiatt (Sides); his daughter Kellie Young (Kenneth Young) of Red Oak; his sister Judy Hiatt of Red Oak; his half-sister Linda Hill (Hiatt) of California; and his grandchildren, Tia Powers (Young), Clayton Powers of Greenwood, Tori Young of Red Oak, Taylor, Geneva Young of Westville, Josh Lewis of Wister, Mikaiah Robberson, Talon Robberson, Rain Patton (Powers), Skyler Powers, Aubree Young and Juni Young. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Red Oak First Baptist Church (301 N Main St, Red Oak, OK 74563).
